Come and Run with Us!
We are very excited to announce that The Centre has been chosen as one of the two charity Partners of the upcoming Sidney by the Sea Run happening on September 22nd. This run/walk event is open to all ages and speeds to participate in the 8k, 5k and kids run. Race organizers anticipate there will be more than 600 participants at the start line.
We would love to have your support as we work to make the most out of this unique opportunity. Here are some fun ways that you can help us reach our goals:
• Sign up to Participate! Join as a solo participant (run or walk) or put together a team. You can collect pledges for the Salish Sea Centre and have a chance to win some amazing prizes!
• Make a donation to the Salish Sea Centre to help us reach our fundraising goals!

We have prizes! A personal, behind the scenes tour of the Aquarium and other exciting prizes will be awarded to the teams or individuals who:
1) Raise the most money for the Salish Sea Centre
2) Have the best overall finish times
3) Have the most fun! (This may include costumes so be creative!)
In addition to all of this excitement, the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea will be offering FREE ADMISSION on race day to all of those with race number bibs.
